What is Amatsu?

Amatsu is a fusion of ancient Japanese philosophy and Western core science researched by Dennis Bartram from the teachings of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and underpinned with the bio-tensegrity principles of Dr Stephen M. Levin MD.

Amatsu has its roots in traditional Japanese natural medicine and is a natural movement oriented therapy which works on the body’s soft tissues to enhance its natural ability to correct and align injuries, sites, postural faults and improve movement performance.

Amatsu is a physical/touch therapy that treats people with pain anywhere in their bodies. It is performed to re-align the tension/compression in the tissues of the body and return the body to homeostasis so it can heal itself. There are no hard adjustments in Amatsu and it is suitable for all ages.

What does Amatsu Treat?

It is used for Body Stress relief at the following levels of the body:
